Delivery Van Hook up points

The works were instigated to introduce delivery vehicle Hook Up points.

"Armco" barriers were installed to provide protection to the lighting columns and charging points from vehicle collisions.

A new electrical distribution board was installed at the agreed location for the new electrical supplies to the new hook up's to area 1, This was  mounted within IP66 GRP enclosure mounted on new framework on the existing structure.

New containment of heavy duty cable tray was installed from the electrical switchroom within the building, fixed to the wall to low level. A new 35mm LSZH/SWA/LSZH cable was installed from the existing 63A switch within the electrical switchroom.

A second electrical distribution board was installed at the agreed location for the new electrical supplies to the new hook up's in area 2..

The existing electrical switch panel within the switchroom required modification to incorporate a new 200A switch. This involved an electrical shut down. This work was carried out by JLP approved panel manufacturer, Easthill Faraday.

From the newly installed 200A switch, a new 70mm LSZH/SWA/LSZH cable was installed along the new and existing containment to the location of the new distribution board.

New 3M lighting columns were installed  between the delivery vehicles. These were constructed of galvanised steel and be complete with a fixing flange at the base to secure the column to the concrete.

New LED floodlights were mounted on the top of each lighting column  and connected to fused Cut Out units mounted at the base of the column.

New twin & single hook up panels were secured to the mounting plates. These hook up panels incorporated a green LED indicator as a visual indication of a healthy electrical supply.
